About Todd Christensen

Todd Christensen is a proven conservative leader with decades of experience in financial services, economic development, and community leadership.

Todd was born and raised in southern Idaho where he moved sprinkler lines, milked and fed cows, and worked in the family machine shop. After high school he served two years in Argentina sharing his faith, built homes and orphanages, and shared resources to nurture stronger families. He graduated from Boise State University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Finance and has continued learning through professional training and certifications.

Over his career, Todd has helped organizations grow, strengthened financial performance, and built partnerships that deliver real results. Most notably, he served for more than a decade as Chief Marketing Officer at CapEd Credit Union, helping lead the organization from $500 million in assets to over $1.5 billion. During his tenure the customer base more than doubled.

Todd has also served as President and CEO of business and economic development organizations, working to support job creation, expand opportunity, and promote responsible growth across Idaho.

He brings a private-sector mindset focused on integrity, leadership, collaboration and accountability. His experience and work ethic is exactly what Ada County taxpayers deserve. Todd and his wife, Pamela, have four grown children and six grandchildren all who live in Idaho.
